We lived on the same block and were set up on a blind date by his roommate from grad school who I went to high school with. We had dinner in the West Village and ended up talking until 2am. On Monday morning we passed one another in the street and realized that we passed each other on our way to work everyday for years without knowing it. We got engaged 8 months later and got married the following year. We grew up 10 minutes away from one another in Westchester and knew people in common. It was meant to be. This year we will be married 39 years.
