Olena and Volodymyr met in university, where he was studying law and she architecture. They dated for eight years and marred in 2003. Zelenskyy became a tv comedian while Zelenska was the writer. They founded a production company, Kvartal 95, which produced the comedy 'Servant of the People', in which Zelenskyy played Ukraine's president. Volodymyr then ran for the actual office, and won. They have two children, Aleksandra and Kiril. Volodymyr now is the leading light in Ukraine's spirit of fighting independence.
