Cape and cap

I got fixed up with a friend of a friend. That was about the time I had become sick and tired of Tinder, so I gave Cindi more of a chance than I might have given someone before. To be fair, she may have given me more of a chance too. Whatever, the fact is that we had an excellent date. She became prettier and prettier as the night went on. How does that happen? Maybe because I’d had more than one drink — just kidding. Except for our families and jobs, I don’t remember much of anything else that we talked about. But man, did we talk. I have a theory that if you can talk with someone for a long while, doesn’t matter whether you come from totally different backgrounds, you can be friends or better.
